Nir Crystal – 46, is married to Adi and has three daughters

Occupation :

Has over 18 years of managerial experience in the private and public sectors. Recently retired from the position of VP of a successful pharmaceutical company to devote himself to the race for mayor of Raanana.

Ayelet Erez Sagan – No 2

Ayelet Erez Sagan, 49, is married to Arik and has two children.

  • CEO of Brain Train Ltd., which specializes in cognitive training using computer software, especially for the elderly
  • She has been involved in marketing communications for several years

Volunteering:

  • Raanana Metro-West High School – Member of the parents’ leadership team
  • Alon Junior High School, Ra’anana – served as a member of the parents’ leadership team for six years, of which 3 years was as chairman.
  • Active in the struggle to cancel the storm drain levy together with Nir Crystal

  • I will work to advance the city’s education system, with an emphasis on junior high schools and high schools.

  • IT manager for a start-up company.

Volunteering:

  • Chairman of Lahav Raanana, Chairman of the Central Region (Lahav – Bureau of Organizations for the Self-Employed and Small Businesses in Israel).
  • Giving computer lessons on a voluntary basis.
  • Volunteer coordinator at “Kefar Saba and Ra’anana loves animals”.
  • My family has been a foster home for hundreds of dogs over the years, including medical care.
  • Providing digital and media services to “Benji’s House”, “Vegan Friendly” and “Kol Hachayot” radio station.

  • One of the founders of “Ofek” the Ra’anana scouts and head of the tribe 10 years.

David Weil 50 years old and married to Na’ama with five children.  He was born in France

  • Leket Israel, an organization that collects surplus food and distributes it to the needy
  • “Tachlit” – an organization that transports people in need of treatment to hospitals
  • For many years on the parents’ committees of the Ariel School and Bnei Akiva Yeshiva in Ra’anana
  • Through “Ra’anana Volunteers” has helped an elderly Holocaust survivor
  • He has a long reserve service as a combat soldier

  • Upgrade the structures of the youth movements
  • Co-ordinate activities between the religious and the secular in the city
  • Take care of the needs of new immigrants and assist in their social absorption into the community

  • Open the Open University Park on Saturdays and holidays for the benefit of the city’s residents

Maya Sweiry– No 6

Maya Sweiry – 34 years old, married to Itzik and mother of three girls.

  • High-tech employee in human resources and operations – for 11 years Officer in “keva” as a human resources officer in the Education Corps and the Home Front Volunteering: She is a member of the municipal kindergardens’ committee (a member of the nutrition and child welfare committees) in Ra’anana
  • Young “Shalach” instructor, social management and youth
  • Training science orientated youth in the sciences.

I will promote as a member of the council:

  • Expand the different kinds of kindergardens in the city – I will start with the youngest with emphasis on professional content, training and developing staff and nutrition
  • Improve our service to the residents: a more accessible and open service for the residents.
  • Expansion of cultural activities in the city for all ages

Sharon Steiner – No 7

Sharon Steiner – 30 years old, married to Shiko and mother of a two-year-old boy.

  • Raanana’s Hasharon Division – educator and teacher of literature and history

Adv. Avi Horowitz – Married to Gil and father of four daughters.

Professional background:

  • He has been working out of his office as an independent lawyer for more than 30 years

Volunteering:

  • For 14 years he served as a pillar among the volunteers of the Hadar tribe of Scouts. Assisted and supported the activities of the tribe and even received a certificate of appreciation from the Raanana Municipality for this
  • Volunteer in the “Little Heroes” organization – a social movement that deals with activities among children of special educational needs who suffer from mental disabilities
  • He has served in the reserves for several years

I will promote as a member of the city council:

  • I will work for the welfare of dogs and their owners in Raanana, including the development and expansion of dog parks, shade, drinking facilities for the convenience of dogs and their owners
  • I will work to promote housing solutions for young couples and individuals, while giving priority to Raanana’s boys and girls
  • I will work to increase the preparedness of municipal services for residents in times of emergency
  • I will work to make Raanana Park a center for residents, including cultural activities and free performances for the benefit of the residents

Alfredo Inselberg – No 9

Alfredo Inselberg – 82, married to Hadassah, father of five children and grandfather of 8 grandchildren.

Professional background:

  • Professor at Tel Aviv University since 1995

  • 30 years research at IBM Haifa – Initiated the IBM Center in Haifa

Volunteering:

  • Volunteer at Cafe Europa, a social and cultural club for Holocaust survivors and their spouses
  • A volunteer policeman in the Civil Guard
  • He was a volunteer at the Flying Club in Ra’anana

I will promote as a member of the council:

  • I will open a police station in Raanana
  • I will increase the sense of personal security of the residents of the city
  • I will work to increase the number of volunteers for Holocaust survivors in the city and improve social conditions.
  • I will promote smart transport
  • I will take care of upgrading the face of Ahuza Street, which will become a shopping, cultural and leisure center

Sarah Tirosh – No 10

Sarah Tirosh, 36, is married to Alon and the mother of a six-year-old girl and a three-year-old boy.

Professional background:

  • Marketing and professional support in the medical field and recently in high-tech

Volunteering:

  • A counselor in the youth movement of the Masorti Movement in Jerusalem Counselor at Shorashim, an organization that organizes delegations of American Jews to Israel

I will promote as a member of the council:

  • I will work to expand the range of residential possibilities throughout the city to enable the return of the Raanana young adults.
  • I will work to increase the scope of cultural and recreational activities in the city for the quality of life of the residents and to strengthen the small businesses near the residential areas
  • I will promote the development of nightlife in the industrial area
  • I will work to improve the level of municipal services
